Student Wellness Center

Today’s college students face unprecedented levels of stress, anxiety, and mental health challenges, making access to timely, compassionate, and integrated care more critical than ever. We have a unique opportunity to strengthen our support for student well-being by transforming the Miller IT Center (MITC), into a modern, centralized hub for Campus Health and the Counseling Center. This reimagined space will unite essential health and counseling services under one roof, creating a seamless, student-centered experience that prioritizes care, connection, and accessibility. In doing so, we will restore the Miller facility to its original purpose, serving the holistic needs of students, and give it a new identity as a place where well-being thrives.

Student Emergency Fund

The Student Emergency Fund supports students during unexpected financial hardship. Whether it's medical bills, emergency travel, or essential living expenses, this fund helps students navigate crises that threaten their education. By providing immediate relief and keeping students focused, we ensure no one has to pause their academic journey due to unforeseen emergencies. Your gift directly impacts students' lives, by helping them stay on track to achieve their goals, no matter the obstacles they face.

Cardinal Cupboard

No student should have to worry about their basic needs as they work to achieve their degree.  The Commonwealth Credit Union Cardinal Cupboard works tirelessly to alleviate that burden by providing basic necessities, such as food and health products, to members of the UofL community. Through a combination of fundraising efforts and food drives, the Cardinal Cupboard ensures that students have access to the essentials they need to thrive academically and personally. By contributing to this fund, you can help reduce food insecurity on campus and allow students to focus on their studies rather than their next meal.

Service Learning and Civil Engagement

The Office of Service Learning and Civic Engagement exists to encourage university students to become aware of global issues through career-integrated volunteer work, experiential learning opportunities, and hands-on immersive experiences in order to make a positive impact in communities both locally and around the world. Their program offerings include several local days of service, Alternative Weekend programming (statewide), the Alternative Service Break program (nationwide), and the International Service Learning Program (globally).

Greek Life

Greek life has long been a cornerstone of the Cardinal experience, building lifelong friendships, fostering leadership, and encouraging service to others. Your gift can help strengthen this tradition by supporting the fraternity or sorority that shaped your own journey, or by contributing to one of our leadership funds—the IFC Leadership Fund, NPHC Leadership Fund, or Panhellenic Leadership Fund. Each fund helps provide educational, developmental, and networking opportunities for current members, empowering the next generation of Greek leaders to excel on campus and beyond.
