Students in the CDEV Program facilitated a huge "Teddy Bear Clinic" at Kankakee School District 111's Early Childhood Program and were able to lead medical play and therapeutic art activities in Pre-K classrooms with the goal to normalize and aid in coping during future medical experiences. 

We LOVE our community partners and these amazing opportunities for our students! They brought this great play- based learning opportunity to close to 420 Pre-K-aged children in the community and word is out and plans are already being made for next year's Teddy Bear Clinic!
