What should I name my squirrel?

Anything you like (within reason)! Name it after yourself, your favorite professor, your old residence hall, or even a favorite Wingate tradition. Go classic, go punny, just have fun with it!

Are there any naming restrictions?

Our Squirrel Squad will review all submissions. We reserve the right to decline names that don’t reflect the dignity of our acorn-loving friends. If your name is declined, you’ll have one chance to submit a new one (but your gift is non-refundable, so choose wisely!).

Is this legally binding?

While your gift makes a real impact, this naming opportunity is symbolic. However, with your $18.96+ donation, we grant you the undeniable right to point at any squirrel on campus and proudly declare, “That’s [Your Squirrel’s Name]!” Just remember—they’re named, not tamed.

Can I share my squirrel’s name on social media?

Yes! We’d love to see what creative names you come up with. Tag us and encourage your fellow Bulldogs to join in!
