Dear Alums and Friends,

I am pleased to share that the energy and momentum within our program is excellent, and as much as ever, we are excited about the future of our track & field and cross-country teams. The indoor season produced great results as evident by improvement, 2 All-Americans, numerous conference champions, many all-time top 10 performances and All-NCAC honors.  The best part of our year awaits us as we begin the outdoor season where we expect even greater achievement.  

OWU has the richest track & field tradition in the NCAC with 52 team titles, 16 Top 25 NCAA team finishes, 22 Academic All-Americans, 135 All-Americans and 17 National Champions. As great as this tradition is, we are more interested in the future. I can take pride in the work of the past twenty-three years as the head coach, but I believe the best is yet to come. Our recruiting efforts are really coming together, and the intangible aspects of our current teams are truly special. We thank you for your support, and for all that you do to ensure the bright future of OWU Track & Field and Cross Country.
