What is Bowdoin One Day?
It is our annual day of giving when students, alumni, families, faculty, staff, and friends around the world make gifts to the Alumni Fund to support the student experience.
I'm a senior. Does my gift count towards the '25 Pays it Forward effort?
Yes! Every senior making their first gift of the year of $5 or more will receive a custom luggage tag as thanks. Those who sign up for monthly or yearly recurring giving will receive a pair of Bowdoin socks, and if you join the 1794 Society (our leadership annual giving recognition program) with a $50 gift, you'll be invited to a celebratory toast event with Randy Nichols! Please note, your gift and name will not appear on the '25 Pays it Forward website until One Day counting is completed.
What's an Advocate and how do I win prizes?
Create your GiveCampus account by clicking "Sign Up" in the top right corner. Once you create your account, make your gift and use the sharing buttons to copy your unique link. This allows you to track your impact on the Advocate Dashboard! Check out our Advocate Incentives to learn what you can win for spreading the word and increasing support.
What's a "Student Class Agent?"
Each year, the Office of Annual Giving hires sophomores, juniors, and seniors to serve as their class's Class Agents. These students partner with staff to engage students in learning more about Bowdoin's financial model and giving programs, develop creative ways to engage students with the alumni network, conduct outreach to alumni throughout the year, and plan their own senior gift effort. After graduation, Class Agents join a community of more than 800 alumni who volunteer each year to keep their class connected and giving back, a more than 150 year tradition!
