The College of Science and Engineering (CSE) at UNCW is a thriving community of discovery, innovation and impact. From advancing research in marine life to pioneering solutions in maritime cybersecurity, students and faculty are shaping the future through hands-on learning and cutting-edge projects.

This success is made possible by supporters like you. The College of Science and Engineering Excellence Fund provides critical resources to fuel initiatives such as the Student Chapter of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM). The ACM chapter’s recent events brought students face-to-face with experts from Amazon, The Linux Foundation and Brookhaven National Laboratory.

Across CSE, the CSE Excellence Fund empowers student research, professional development and innovative programs in fields like psychology, engineering and environmental sciences.  These programs connect students with industry leaders to gain real-world insights and prepare them for success. By supporting the CSE Excellence Fund, you’re investing in the next generation of scientists, engineers and problem-solvers who will shape our world for the better.

As a token of our appreciation and helping excellence take flight, all donors who make a gift of $35, or more, to the College of Science and Engineering Excellence Fund will receive an exclusive UNCW “Excellence in Flight” cooler tote bag. This special offer ends during Homecoming week on February 16, so don’t miss out!

Together, we can inspire innovation and excellence. Thank you for making a difference in the lives of our students. Your generosity fuels their success and keeps the Seahawk spirit soaring.

With Seahawk Pride,

 Dr. Ron Vetter
