Brown Cancer Center Greatest Impact

Funds raised will go to provide general support for the UofL Health – Brown Cancer Center. Funds will be allocated to the area of greatest impact --- directly impacting patient care and access.

SOAR-On: Patient Support Services

The goal of SOAR On (SOAR On = where Strength and Opportunities for All are Realized) is to enhance and assist with the quality of patients’ and caregivers’ live, with services and programs including art, music, and massage therapies; counseling; chaplaincy; nutritional expertise; oncology comfort items (wigs, scarves, hats, port pillows, breast prosthetics, etc.); sexual health counseling; and tobacco cessation.

Funding a Cure – Research & Clinical Trials

Some of the greatest minds in cancer research are at the UofL Health - Brown Cancer Center. This fund supports efforts to increase new and novel clinical trials and offer cutting edge treatments to patients, while expanding the research that will bring tomorrow's cures. Much of the research that has been performed in our laboratories over the past 15 years includes clinical trials, meaning tomorrow's medicine is often available to our patients first.
