Please consider making a gift to one of UofL Hospital's priorities:

Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)

The UofL Health neonatal intensive care unit is committed to providing the very best care for babies in our region that are sick or premature.

The need of many of our NICU families is substantial. Funds raised will go to purchase items that will help with the transition to home, e.g. car seats, baby care items, and cribs. Funds may also be used to support the emotional well-being of NICU parents.

Burn Unit

UofL Health – UofL Hospital is home to the only dedicated adult Burn Center in the State of Kentucky. In 2018, we opened our newly expanded burn unit, which reflects our commitment to provide family-centered care and evidence-based practices. Our goal is to assist patients and families towards recovery and getting back to their life.

Funds raised will be used for our burn survivor program, burn prevention and education, and a new media center and library for patients.

Trauma Center

J. David Richardson Trauma Center is a national leader for trauma care, providing care for over 4,000 patients annually who require the highly specialized services offered. We are the region’s only Level I trauma center for adults and we are one of only two Level I adult trauma centers in Kentucky.

Funds raised will go to support the following: trauma survivor resources; trauma injury, education & outreach; gun violence prevention; and our therapy dog program.

UofL Hospital West Tower Expansion

UofL Health – UofL Hospital is expanding. The new seven story addition will reshape the skyline of the LouMed district and downtown Louisville. The expansion will add an additional 98 beds, open six new operating rooms, and create a modern and welcoming lobby to better serve our patients and the community.

As we prepare to open our first unit in early 2025, you can become a partner in the project by making a gift to the West Tower Fund.
