Thanks to your support, we’ve strengthened and expanded scholarships and programs at PCC — including the Rise to Teach Fund. 

Your donation directly supported emergency grants for Rise to Teach students — offering crucial financial relief in moments when it’s needed most. One of our students, Hazel, is in her final year at PCC and preparing to transfer to Portland State University in the fall. When her husband unexpectedly lost his job during winter term, her family was suddenly facing serious financial strain.

Because of your gift, Hazel received emergency support that helped her family cover one month of rent while her husband searched for new employment. That support allowed her to remain a full-time student, complete her coursework, and continue pursuing her dream of becoming a teacher — without the fear of losing her home.

As we build on this momentum, your involvement remains essential.
