Your Gift Made an Incredible Difference on PCC’s Big Give Day!

Thanks to your support, we’ve strengthened and expanded scholarships and programs at PCC — including the Gerontology Fund for Excellence Fund.

Your support helped fund Oregon Gerontological Association (OGA) annual memberships and conference registrations for seven students and three faculty members, as well as a PCC sponsorship for the annual conference. Faculty member Jenny Sasser facilitated one of the sessions, helping connect PCC’s program with regional thought leadership in aging studies.

In addition, your generosity supported Gerontology alum Natalia Kasperovich in presenting her innovative project, “The Untapped Potential of LEGO Bricks for Later Life Play,” at the Association for the Study of Play national conference. She also attended the Gerontological Society of America annual conference alongside program leadership — showcasing the kind of creative, forward-thinking work PCC students are producing in the field.

As we build on this momentum, your involvement remains essential. Whether through advocacy, volunteering, or continued giving, you play a vital role in removing financial barriers for Portland Community College students. If you’d like to learn more about the impact of your support or ways to stay involved, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Thank you for believing in our mission and investing in the success of our students and programs. We truly appreciate you!

Best,
