Center for STEM Inclusion
The WCU STEM Outreach Program provides hands-on learning experiences to students from underserved backgrounds and underrepresented groups, connecting them with STEM undergraduates and faculty. We partner with over 20 schools in southeastern PA and local nonprofits to promote STEM education. Our focus is on the middle-to-high school transition, a critical time for maintaining STEM interest, but where there is a notable lack of STEM enrichment programs. Our program emphasizes authentic science experiences with research-grade equipment, as well as continuous support for students from elementary to high school. We collaborate closely with partner schools to identify high-aptitude students for ongoing mentoring and enrichment throughout their middle and high school years.

Psychology Scholarships
The Psychology fund supports awards for outstanding Psychology majors. Each fall, the Psychology faculty select a recipient for the junior merit award for a junior-level Psychology major who excels academically. In the spring, the Psychology select recipients for senior awards in the area of academic achievement, departmental service, research, and an overall outstanding student.

WCU Pre-Medical Program
Please support the WCU Pre-Medical Program. We help our students navigate the complexes of preparing for professional school and throughout the application process. Students in our program are pursing one of many professional school disciplines including: Pre-Medical (MD and DO), Pre-Physician Assistant, Pre-Dental, Pre-Veterinary, Pre-Optometry, Pre-Podiatry, Pre-Pathology Assistant, or Pre-Genetic Counseling. Students pursing professional degree programs can spend over $2000 in preparing for and taking the admissions tests like the MCAT (Medical College Admissions Test) or the DAT (Dental Admissions Test). Additionally, students will spend around $1000 in primary applications.
Your support will enable students have access to resources necessary to prepare for the admission exams and to apply to the programs that they want to pursue. The donations given to this fund will be used to set up additional scholarships for students in the process of preparing to apply to professional schools to help offset the costs that many do not have the means to afford.
