Period @ CWRU
PERIOD@CWRU is a part of a national organization, with the goal of advocating for menstrual care on campus and in the Cleveland community. We aim to accomplish this by raising awareness of menstrual inequities and educating our peers on the importance of breaking down menstrual stigma. We are also involved in educating and giving back to the community, which is why any donations received from Day of Giving will be used to purchase menstrual products for donation to local women's shelters, churches, and schools.

Roleplaying Games Club
The Roleplaying Games (RPG) Club is dedicated to helping connect and support the CWRU Pen & Paper RPG community. The club holds events each semester to help students find games on campus, and possesses a library of sourcebooks and gaming resources that students may borrow from. We also hold social events throughout the year to help introduce newer players to the community and to promote interest in a variety of systems.

Stephanie Tubbs Jones Award Fund
The Stephanie Tubbs Jones Award honors Stephanie Tubbs Jones, a CWRU alumnus who embodied the spirit of community and Spartan pride. The award in her honor was established to recognize an underrepresented undergraduate student for significant contributions to campus life, scholarship and community service. Tubbs Jones, who was actively involved at CWRU and in the nearby community, best demonstrated these three characteristics.

Student Public Interest Law Fellowship (SPILF)
The Student Public Interest Law Fellowship (SPILF) is a student-run fundraising group that benefits CWRU law students who take unpaid public interest internships over the summer. All of the money raised goes directly to qualifying students who have participated in SPILF’s fundraising efforts and volunteered in legal or non-legal settings. SPILF money has allowed students to work for organizations such as Catholic Charities Migration and Refugee Services, Community Legal Aid in Akron, and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.

The Western Reserve Abolitionist Project
The Western Reserve Abolitionist Project is seeking your help in funding our efforts to educate the CWRU and Greater Cleveland community on how we can work together to create a safer and more equitable criminal justice system. Funds will be used to host educational events such as panels, speakers, and community building spaces. In the future, we aim to expand into the mutual aid sphere to assist currently and formerly incarcerated individuals in getting access to basic food and hygiene resources. To support, please donate to the Sociology Department fund.
