Please consider supporting Outdoor Adventure (OA) during the Pirates for Pirates Challenge! 

We are completely donor-funded, so gifts to OA offset the costs of student trips, the purchase of new gear, and the salaries of our staff coordinator and student workers. There are currently five student workers, and I would like to increase that to eight. These students are developed into trip leaders and learn valuable skills to take with them beyond Southwestern. This year, we are also looking to purchase dry bags for water-related trips at $100 each, as well as new camping stoves at $200-$300 each. 

We host day trips throughout the year and then take longer excursions during breaks. Next week, we'll be heading to Caddo Lake for a four-day canoe trip. This upcoming Spring Break, we'll be taking a group of students down to Puerto Rico!

Students who attend these trips are charged a nominal fee, ranging from $15-20 for day trips, $60 for long weekends, and $150-400 for spring break trips. We never want finances to be a barrier for a student attending a trip, so we greatly appreciate your support!
