Our Story

COAST with IFP began with a vision to create more opportunities for students to connect, build friendships and feel a sense of belonging at UNCW. After developing our constitution and laying the groundwork over the summer of 2026, we officially launched COAST in Fall 2026. Our goal is to build a campus community where everyone has opportunities to participate, explore their interests and feel included.

Meet COAST

COAST is powered by student leaders and members who are passionate about inclusion, friendship and community. Together, we're building an organization shaped by students' interests, ideas and goals.

What's Ahead?

With support from TEALstarter, we hope to host social events, creative activities, community outings and more! Your support will help us turn students' ideas into real experiences and create a more connected, inclusive campus.

Let's create more opportunities to connect, belong and COAST together!
