The Pirates for Pirates Challenge is happening now, and this is your opportunity to give back with your support of Women's Soccer!

This season, we've welcomed 15 first-year athletes with a large graduating class in May. The first goal of the season was scored by first-year Raquel Alvarez-Fuentes of Austin, giving her first collegiate goal. We'll have an alumni and athlete gathering in the spring, so stay tuned for more details.

While we are in the middle of our season, there are some opportunities for your support to have a direct impact on the team. At the end of the month, we have two big travel trips to Centre and Sewanee. The conference tournament this year will be hosted by Berry College in Rome, Georgia, which will take the full roster. We also like to have team-bonding outings during these trips, such as a visit to the Georgia Aquarium last fall.

A big project that we are working on in conjunction with the men's program is a good press box at the pitch. This would also provide some storage underneath to reduce the use of our shared shed.

Our goal this year is to have 100 donors to Women's Soccer during the Pirates for Pirates Challenge. When we reach our goal, I will dye a part of my hair pink. We also have an anonymous donor offering a generous matching gift opportunity to double your impact, giving $1 for $1, up to $5,000!

Make your gift today to support Women's Soccer. Gifts of all sizes collectively impact our programs and elevate the experience each athlete receives. Please encourage friends and family to join you during this time in support of our program!

Thank you and Go Pirates!
