It’s time for Pirates for Pirates! Track and Field is the second largest team on campus, but during the Pirates for Pirates challenge— let’s make it the loudest!

Our goal is 50 people donating. Not 50 gigantic gifts, just 50 people who want to play a part in the athletic experience here for track and field athletes. $25 counts, $100 counts, and, sure, if you want to give $ 5,000 too, we are grateful for that. Every gift gets us closer to our goal of 50 donors.

When we reach our goal, I'll be attempting the 110 Hurdles, High Jump, and Long Jump at practice.

Here’s what your support helped build this past year:

On the Team level, our men finished 5th and the women 6th in conference at the SAA Outdoor Championships, set 19 school records over the season, and we aren’t done!

On the individual level:

Your gift goes to the entire athlete experience. Gifts of any size make it possible to get gear, uniforms, and major equipment at no cost to the athlete.

Your gift also goes to travel meals and team experiences on the road.

Your gift will go to updating branding at the home track and much-needed bleachers for when fans and supporters come to watch us compete, they have a place to sit and watch.

Your gift will also help provide flight costs and lodging to the conference championships for 70 of our athletes and those who qualify for the national championships.

Some specific costs for immediate needs we have are below:
$3,000 for travel bags for the team
$6,000 for new singlets (uniforms) and bottoms
$9,000 for new hurdles that have earned their retirement

If you’d like to cover a specific need above, or would like to give a round dollar amount, give now, and forward to a friend or family member you know loves Pirate track as much as you do!

GO PIRATES,
