My name is Anna, and I am a sophomore at UC Santa Cruz studying philosophy.

Being a member of UCSC Rugby has been one of the most impactful parts of my college experience. Through this program, I have developed leadership skills, built lifelong friendships, learned how to work as part of a team, and challenged myself both academically and athletically.

The opportunity to travel to New Zealand is especially meaningful to me because I want to learn to play this game at the highest level possible. The opportunity to learn from incredible coaches in New Zealand and to bond with my teammates is a dream come true.
