My name is Bodey, and I am a junior at UC Santa Cruz studying Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology.

Being a member of UCSC Rugby has been one of the most impactful parts of my college experience. Through this program, I have developed leadership skills, built lifelong friendships, learned how to work as part of a team, and challenged myself both academically and athletically.

The opportunity to travel to New Zealand is especially meaningful to me because I want to push my skillsets and understanding of the game as far as I  can before the start of this season. I'm also excited to experience a new culture and form stronger connections with my teammates.
