My name is Connor, and I am an incoming freshman at UC Santa Cruz studying business.

Rugby has been one of the most impactful parts of my educational journey so far - I have developed leadership skills, built lifelong friendships, learned how to work as part of a team, and challenged myself both academically and athletically.

The opportunity to travel to New Zealand with the Banana Slugs is especially meaningful to me because I will be able to connect with my new teammates while training in a high performance rugby environment. This trip will not only be a spring board to a successful season for the slugs, but also a chance to immerse myself in a new culture!
