My name is Josue, and I am a junior at UC Santa Cruz .

Being a member of UCSC Rugby has been one of the most impactful parts of my college experience. Through this program, I have developed leadership skills, built lifelong friendships, learned how to work as part of a team, and challenged myself both academically and athletically.

The opportunity to travel to New Zealand is especially meaningful to me because getting to train in a high performance environment with my teammates is going to elevate my game and prepare us for the season. Experience a new culture and visiting a part of the world is going to be the opportunity of a lifetime for me.
