My name is Ewan, and I am an incoming freshman at UC Santa Cruz studying Biomolecular Engineering.

Participating in rugby has been one of the most impactful parts of my high school experience. As an incoming student, I know that the Banana slugs rugby program will help me develop additional leadership skills, friendships, and challenged myself both academically and athletically.

The opportunity to travel to New Zealand is especially meaningful to me because I  can immerse myself in a high performance rugby environment while developing connections with my new teammates. I'm eager to learn more about life in New Zealand and Banana Slugs Rugby!
