My name is Amelie, and I am a sophomore at UC Santa Cruz.

Being a member of UCSC Rugby has been one of the most impactful parts of my college experience. Through this program, I have developed leadership skills, built lifelong friendships, learned how to work as part of a team, and challenged myself both academically and athletically.

The opportunity to travel to New Zealand is especially meaningful to me because I can immerse myself in rugby culture and traditions. I  absolutely love playing rugby and this is a chance for me to further hone my skillsets and learn from some of the best coaches on the planet!  I cant wait to travel with my teammates and build life long friendships!
