My name is Niklas Nace and I am a junior at UC Santa Cruz studying Biomolecular engineering. I have been playing rugby for 9 years and hope to expand my experiences through traveling to New Zealand !

UCSC Rugby has been one of the most impactful parts of my college experience. Through this program I have been able to experience top level D1A rugby while accommodating my passion for molecular engineering. It has helped me create a community for support and push me to my limits as a student athlete. 

This opportunity to travel to New Zealand is especially meaningful to me because rugby has always been an integral part of my life. Being able to travel to one of the top community's in the world for rugby will drive my passion for the sport farther then I have ever imagined. With this experience I plan to incorporate skills developed not only into my future of rugby but my business expertise.
