My name is Phil, and I am a junior at UC Santa Cruz studying Biomolecular Engineering.

Being a member of UCSC Rugby has been one of the most impactful parts of my college experience. Through this program, I have developed leadership skills, built lifelong friendships, learned how to work as part of a team, and challenged myself both academically and athletically.

The opportunity to travel to New Zealand is especially meaningful to me because I've fallen in love with rugby and am excited to learn about the culture and traditions of the game. Traveling to New Zealand will be an incredible adventure that will bring our team closer together while building our skillsets. This is going to be an outstanding opportunity of me and UCSC rugby in general.
