My name is Tim, and I am a sophomore at UC Santa Cruz studying Molecular Biology.

Being a member of UCSC Rugby has been one of the most impactful parts of my college experience so far. Through this program, I have developed leadership skills, built lifelong friendships, learned how to work as part of a team, and challenged myself both academically and athletically.

The opportunity to travel to New Zealand is especially meaningful to me because I  really have so much to learn about rugby.  I'm keen to learn about the culture, the traditions that make New Zealand the leaders in global leaders in rugby. I also want to build stronger connections with my teammates and improve my skillsets heading into the next season!
