My name is Nio, and I am a Junior at UC Santa Cruz studying Business.

Being a member of UCSC Rugby has been one of the most impactful parts of my college experience. Through this program, I have developed leadership skills, built lifelong friendships, learned how to work as part of a team, and challenged myself both academically and athletically.

The opportunity to travel to New Zealand is especially meaningful to me because I  absolutely love Rugby and I want to immerse myself in the culture and traditions of the game. I'm also incredibly grateful for the opportunity to bond with my new teammates at UC Santa Cruz. I think this trip will help me grow as a person and a player!
