My name is Jazi, and I am a graduating senior at UC Santa Cruz. I'm also a rugby player.

Being a member of UCSC Rugby has been one of the most impactful parts of my college experience. Through this program, I have developed leadership skills, built lifelong friendships, learned how to work as part of a team, and challenged myself both academically and athletically.

The opportunity to travel to New Zealand is especially meaningful to me because I want to learn so much about rugby and the culture. I  want to continue to develop my skills and experience a high performance rugby environment. I'm also returning from a knee injury and I  can't wait to get back on the pitch with my teammates. I cant think of a better place to do it than in New Zealand!
