James ’94 and Becky Poer are supporting the Neeley School of Business as this year’s TCU Gives Day challenge donors. During the 24 hours of TCU Gives Day, every gift – of any amount – moves Neeley closer to its goal of 375 gifts in 24 hours. Once the goal is met, the school will unlock the Poers’ $25,000 challenge gift in support of Neeley AI Forward.
For the Poers, TCU is a family connection. James is a TCU '94 alumnus, their son Austin ’25 is a Neeley graduate, and their son Jacob is a current TCU student majoring in economics and connecting the business and liberal arts worlds.
Through their support of Neeley AI Forward, the Poers are helping advance the school’s holistic approach to preparing students, faculty and the broader Neeley community for a future shaped by artificial intelligence.
By joining the Poer family in supporting Neeley on TCU Gives Day, you help unlock their $25,000 gift and create opportunities for Neeley students.

Geraldine Dominiak Endowed Accounting Excellence Award Challenge
TCU alums David '74 and Jeannie Dickson of Waco have generously pledged $10,000 if 15 donors give to support permanently endowing the Accounting Department’s annual student award. Named in memory of one of David’s mentors, Dr. Geraldine F. Dominiak served as professor of accounting and department chair for nearly 30 years. Once established with your support, this new permanent endowment will recognize an outstanding student along with a faculty mentor in perpetuity.
Krause Family Challenge for the Neeley EMBA Program
The Krause family has committed a $1,000 challenge gift to inspire support for the Neeley EMBA Program this TCU Gives Day. Every gift helps strengthen the program and its impact on future business leaders.
Neeley Professional Development Center Challenge
For Simms and Kelly Jenkins of Atlanta, TCU has become a meaningful part of their family through their son Cal, a sophomore finance major at the Neeley School of Business, and their service on the Family Council. Watching Cal grow through his TCU experience has deepened their appreciation for the way Neeley prepares students both academically and personally.
The Jenkins family values the confidence, communication, leadership and relationship-building skills that help students grow into well-rounded professionals. Through their support of the Neeley Professional Development Center, they are helping students develop those skills alongside a strong academic foundation.
By supporting the Neeley Professional Development Center on TCU Gives Day, you can unlock the Jenkins’ gift of $10,000 to help prepare students to lead, connect and succeed throughout their careers.

BNSF Neeley Leadership Program Challenge
The Crossley family is proud to support the Neeley Leadership Program inspired by the experience of their oldest daughter, Camey. A senior entrepreneurship and marketing major at TCU, Camey has been involved in NLP throughout her time at Neeley and currently serves on the Student Cabinet as vice president of member engagement.
Through hands-on leadership experiences, mentorship, professional development, and a close-knit cohort, the Neeley Leadership Program gives students the opportunity to grow both personally and professionally. For Camey, NLP has been one of the most impactful parts of her TCU experience, giving her opportunities to grow as a leader while learning alongside classmates who have become some of her closest friends.
The Crossley family is grateful for the experiences and relationships NLP has given Camey and is excited to support a program that has meant so much to her and continues to make an impact on Neeley students.

Please note that any gifts made before Oct. 6 will still count toward these challenges. Your early contribution is greatly appreciated and will be recognized once TCU Gives Day officially starts at noon on Oct. 6!
