My name is Sage, and I am a Senior at UC Santa Cruz studying MCD Biology.

Being a member of UCSC Rugby has been one of the most impactful parts of my college experience. Through this program, I have developed leadership skills, built lifelong friendships, learned how to work as part of a team, and challenged myself both academically and athletically.

The opportunity to travel to New Zealand is especially meaningful to me because I'm excited to bond with my teammates while developing my rugby skills. I've recently moved to the frontrow and this will be an opportunity to futher hone my skillsets as a prop!
