The Nancy Tavelli Scholarship Endowment 

In recognition of her 46 years of service to Whitman College, alumni, friends and colleagues will establish The Nancy Tavelli Scholarship. For decades, Nancy has played an unparalleled role in evolving Whitman's Residential Life program, from staff development across the year to helping plan and execute multiple residence hall renovation and construction projects.

Nancy embodies the values of the college, demonstrating care for students and staff, purposefully creating learning opportunities and celebrating the integration of academic and residence living experiences This scholarship will be awarded to a first-year or second-year student who demonstrates financial need.
