Young Harris College's annual Giving Day supports the Young Harris Fund, which provides scholarships, student leadership experiences, faculty development and community resources in the Enchanted Valley.
As we have seen this past year, now more than ever, you support means so much to the students, faculty and staff of Young Harris College. Your gift in this special Giving Day will directly support the efforts that make YHC's experiences and meaningful relationships possible.
This year we are excited to offer a Young Harris College 135th anniversary mask for donations in the amount of $35 or more. Senior graphic design major Sarah Fanueff created this mask in the spirit and history of Young Harris College and wee can't wait to see this mask on our alumni and friends! Per IRS guidelines, the charitable portion of your donation must be reduced by the fair market value of the goods or services received. The Young Harris College mask is valued at $7. Therefore, if your donation is $35, your tax-deductible portion of your gift will be $28.00. However, if your gift is greater than or equal to $56.00, then the full amount of your gift can be considered tax-deductible per IRS guidelines.
