This #GivingChooseDay we are asking for gifts to Annual Fund. You are welcome to designate your gift to a sports team, academic department or family scholarship, but unrestrictive gifts to the annual fund are the most effective way to help Wilmington College RISE. The annual fund supports people, living and learning environments, and a sustainable future for the College.
- Invest in People: At the core of Wilmington College are the people who live, learn and lead every day with the College’s time-honored values. Together, the students, faculty and staff of Wilmington College participate in a liberal arts learning community that nurtures the growth of the whole person.
- Invest in the living and learning environment: Community is nurtured in the classroom, as well as across the campus. Capital improvements are planned to improve student living spaces, create productive learning environments and make the Wilmington College campus more welcoming.
- Invest in a sustainable future: The staff and faculty of Wilmington College have shown they can be nimble and resourceful in the face of challenges. With the help of donors, the College will always be resilient and prepared to address both predictable and unpredictable futures.

We love Giving Tuesday because alumni and friends from all over the world can participate. So far, WC has received support from 100 donors from 19 different U.S. States and Sweden! Together, we’ve reached 63% of the $100,000 goal.
President Trevor received a call all the way from California; ’68 Alumnus, Seth Kittay is determined to help us reach our goal. He is matching up to $25,000 of gifts made in the next 10 hours!

The WC Board of Trustees has the utmost confidence in the College’s success. Acting on their own advice, Trustees have made personal contributions to the WC Annual Fund for a Board Supported #GivingTuesday Matching Gift. Trustee and ’65 Alumna, Elizabeth Garvey just joined her peers with a generous pledge of $21,000! This brings the Board matching gift fund to $42,000 and counting. Their goal is a $50,00 matching fund.
