Title: Math Modeling of Pattern Formation

Description:

Patterns are everywhere in nature. Mathematical modeling serves as a great tool for analyzing spontaneous pattern formation. In this honors project, I will use flower petals as a proxy to study intricate spatial patterns within a reaction-diffusion modeling framework,  so as to understand the behaviors of complex patterning in plants.
