Analysis of Electronic Signals from Neonatal Intensive Care Units

Hometown: Shanghai, China

Department: Mathematics

Advisor: John Delos

Apnea of Prematurity(AOP) has been one of the major issues among premature infants. This project would focus on real-time detection and discrimination of AOP. Combining data collected from Neonatal Intensive Care Unit(NICU) and via capnography, we seek to identify and characterize central, obstructive and mixed apneas, with characterization of obstructive apnea detection as this project's main challenge.
