Christianity During Times of Crisis: The European Refugee Movement

Hometown: Buffalo Junction, Virginia

Department: Religious Studies

Advisor: Alexander Angelov

My honors thesis will focus on how refugees define the term "crisis" and how they describe their Christian faith. My thesis seeks to find understanding between how traumatic experiences relate to Christian theology and doctrine. Additionally, I will compare early twentieth century Christian theology to contemporary scholarly and political appraisals of crisis.
