We hope to fund four teams to compete in International Competitions.

Clara Barton International Humanitarian Law Competition and Jean Pictet Competition are simulation based experimental legal competition. During the competition, teams will be assigned values and an objective depending on role. They will have to advocate for their roles and speak competently on international humanitarian law concepts. A written brief is also required. Your donation will allow the team to participate and gain valuable experience in international law as well as provide excellent networking opportunities.

Second group competitions that the team will compete in will be International Criminal Court Moot Court and Jessup International Law Moot Court Competitions. They are traditional moot court competitions including oral arguments and brief writing, memorials in international courts. The Moot Court team has agreed to help provide our team advise and coaching as an adjunct team. Your donation will allow the team to compete on regional levels and potentially qualify at nationals. The success of the team will only add points and can beneficial to the current Moot Court Team.

The International Competition Team (ICT) is sponsored by the International Law Society. We received 36 interest forms and, through the tryout process including application, resume, topic paper, and interview resulted in 11 International Competition Team members. The team focuses on International competitions that are both simulation and application of law as well as moot court regarding international topics. These team members are voluntarily without credit participating in competitions that require multi-page briefs and extensive oral advocacy skills on their own time outside of law school. Please, help support International Competition Team and reward these students dedication to bettering themselves and representing William and Mary Law School

We will be competing in the following competitions for Academic Year 2021-2022.
