HESA Graduate Student Research and Travel Fund
Support Higher Education Student Affairs (HESA) graduate students through travel stipends and professional development opportunities. We believe the only thing better than watching our graduate students grow is helping them grow. Unfortunately, our graduate students do not receive the same level of support as our undergraduate students when it comes to funding research and travel. We are turning away more students than we accept when they apply for travel and professional development funding, which is necessary to propel their research and careers.
We hope to raise $2,000 annually to include more opportunities for our HESA graduate students.
What your gifts will support:
- $25 will fill 1 tank of gas for a car full of graduate students traveling to SACSA
- $50 will fund research supplies for 1 student traveling to Charleston, SC
- $150 will give 2 students the opportunity to stay overnight in Charlotte, NC as they complete their research
- $300 will fund the full cost of travel for 1 student to present their research at ACPA
- $500 will fund full cost of travel for 1 student to present their research at NASPA
Mother Teresa said, "I alone cannot change the world, but I can cast a stone across the waters to create many ripples." Cast your stone and create your ripples today.
