The WCU Football Club is comprised of former Catamount Football players and coaches who are committed to support our current football student-athletes and the football program. We believe the bond created on the gridiron is unique and can lead to a lifetime of friendships, relationships, and other meaningful opportunities.
The main objectives of this group are:
- Engaging former players and coaches, and continuing to build and grow the relationships with the current staff and student-athletes.
- Participating in a mentorship program for current student-athletes, resulting in internship and/or job opportunities, while supporting their transition into the work force after identifying as a Division I collegiate athlete.
- Providing financial resources to directly support the WCU Football Program with the necessary basics to perform and compete at their highest level, both physically and mentally.
