The generosity of our donors and friends highlights the philanthropic spirit that drives our growth and propels our vision. WCU believes in the transformative power of building relationships, and we welcome you to join the 1889 Club.
The 1889 Club recognizes donors for annual gifts made to the Fund for WCU, which supports scholarships, student programming, professional development, and our ongoing stewardship efforts.
Named in honor of the year of WCU’s establishment, this society embraces gifts ranging from $18.89 to $1,889 a year.
The 1889 Club will host an annual event featuring cross-generational music of the region, both traditional and contemporary, as a symbol of looking to our past to inspire our future.
