Be the Bridge: Support Wellesley Financial Aid

This campaign ended on October 05, 2019, but you can still make a gift to Wellesley College by clicking here!

The challenge to our community: to inspire 361 alums over 5 days to invest in Wellesley students by giving to the Wellesley Fund.

Just a month ago, Wellesley welcomed the yellow class of 2023 to campus. These diverse students will receive an excellent education, form lifelong friendships, and eventually join you, our alums, as members of one of the strongest networks in the world.

Nearly 60 percent of Wellesley’s students receive financial aid (361 of the entering class), and all students receive nearly $30,000 in silent scholarship—the difference between what Wellesley spends per student and tuition. Alum support allows Wellesley to meet 100 percent of calculated need for all admitted students. Your gifts ensure students are enrolled based on their skills, abilities, and promise, not their family’s income.

As President Johnson shared in her letter, Wellesley provides an education on how to bridge divides, both in and beyond the classroom. With your gift today, you become the bridge that makes a Wellesley education accessible for so many deserving students. Be a part of the 361 and show your support for your Wellesley sibs.
