Women of Webster fund has been established to honor the history and dedication of women who shaped Webster University. Your gift to the Women of Webster (WOW) will support the following priorities:

•  Gorloks Now! Fund, Webster’s student emergency fund

•  Women’s Athletics

•  Expanded scholarships for transfer students from community colleges

History of Women and Webster:

In the early 1900s, women who wanted to pursue higher education had few choices. In 1915, the Sisters of Loretto agreed to open a college in St. Louis, MO. These dedicated women not only filled a need for higher education for women of that era but established a university that would bring learning to tens of thousands of women and men worldwide, over the next 100 years
