Help send students to the American College Dance Association Annual Conference

Webster University’s Dance Program has been an active member of the American College Dance Association (ACDA), for over thirty years. Dance majors attend their annual conferences at universities throughout the country. These events are a highlight of the dance season and previous participants have described them as “inspiring” and “transformative”.

This year, eighteen Webster Dance majors will attend the ACDA Regional Conference in Northfield, Minnesota at the end of March. This event features four days of master classes, lectures, and performances with students, faculty, and guest artists from around the county. Webster Dance will present three student-choreographed works that will receive individualized feedback from esteemed dance makers.

The Dance Club fundraises throughout the year to offset the travel and affiliated expenses and prior trips have received funding from Webster’s Student Government Association. All remaining costs are paid by the individual students.

Your gift enables our students to enrich and expand upon their Webster education while minimizing their out-of-pocket expenses. Gifts of all sizes a difference!

Thank you!

The Webster University Dance Department expresses its heartfelt gratitude for your generous support toward our recent trip to the American College Dance Association's (ACDA) North Central Conference in Northfield, Minnesota.

Thanks to your contribution, 17 of our dedicated dance majors, accompanied by faculty members Maggi Dueker and Xi Zhao, embarked on an enriching four-day journey. The experience was truly transformative for our students, offering them invaluable opportunities to engage in master classes, lectures, and performances alongside faculty and students from 25 other esteemed colleges and universities.

Your generosity not only enabled our students to enhance their skills and broaden their perspectives but also fostered a deep sense of camaraderie and community within our department. Your belief in the power of dance education and your support of our endeavors are invaluable to us.

Once again, thank you for your kindness and generosity. We deeply appreciate your ongoing support of the arts and our students at Webster University.
