Walsh University Women's Golf

This campaign ended on December 02, 2019, but you can still make a gift to Walsh University by clicking here!

Coming off of the strongest fall season since the program has been competing in NCAA Division II, Walsh University Women’s Golf needs your help to continue to succeed.

  • This fall, the Cavalier Women’s Golf team broke the school’s 18-hole record (308) at the CT Classic at Cumberland Trails hosted by Ohio Dominican University.
  • At least half of the team each year is awarded the WGCA All-American Scholar Award.
  • When not on the course, these hardworking women remain active in the community during their season, having placed 5th overall in community service hours out of all NCAA Division II women’s golf programs in the country.
  • Academically, this team maintains a GPA of 3.5 or higher.

As we look to build upon our success, the Cavalier Women’s Golf team is asking you to join us in raising the necessary funds to maintain the University’s indoor golf practice facility, named after Walsh golf legend Brother James Lacasse. This campaign will also help purchase equipment, like putting mats and practice balls, and pay for upcoming travel expenses. Our Women’s Golf team seeks to remain competitive within the GMAC and the East Region, and we hope you will help them achieve that goal by making a gift today.
