The American Chemical Society’s Project SEED is an eight-week summer program that provides economically disadvantaged high school students the opportunity to gain hands-on lab experience and learn about college life. When you make a gift to the Department of Chemistry, you provide funds that support:
- Student stipends that make participation in Project SEED possible.
- One-month salaries for faculty members who lead program workshops.
- Enrichment activities, including tours of chemical companies and discussions about careers for chemistry majors.
