Spartan Family Food Drive

The Spartan Family Food Drive allows students to collect, sort, and distribute upwards of two weeks' worth of food into their local community, while also having the opportunity to benefit from the event itself. By providing a service-based outlet for Castleton students, staff, and community members, we can both enrich our community while simultaneously addressing one of the largest recurring issues of our time. The money raised during this drive will allow us to purchase perishable foods, like bread, milk, and cheese, to accompany the food collected by our student volunteers on campus.

Our Mission Statement:
The mission of this event is to draw the local Castleton community together while simultaneously addressing the hunger crisis within the said community by providing upwards of 100 families with at least 2 weeks' worth of food.

Goals:

• Feed at least 100 families
• Collect at least $2,000 in donations
• Connect at least 50 volunteers throughout the entire event
