On Tuesday, November 30, Castleton University will join thousands of organizations around the world to celebrate Giving Tuesday. This year, we're asking our Spartan community to come together in support of our more than 600 student-athletes. The 2020-21 academic and the impact of COVID-19 found many of our student-athletes on the sidelines unable to compete. Off the field, our students continued to thrive academically, including 26 students who achieved a perfect 4.0 semester-based GPA and 148 student-athletes who were named to the Little East Conference Academic Honor Roll in the spring.
This Giving Tuesday, we're calling on faculty, staff, alumni, and friends of Castleton to support our Spartans who so proudly wear our 343 Green and embody The Castleton Way. Help us reach our goal of 148 donors on November 30 in honor of the success of our student-athletes – both in the classroom and on the field – and proudly say #IGaveGreen!
