Castleton University students have an incredible opportunity to travel to Costa Rica in May of 2019 and be a part of a global mission to unite communities and countries through choral music.
Allowing students to immerse themselves in the local music and culture, trip participants will visit local high schools to sing and perform, while also collaborating with Costa Rican University choirs. Students will prepare a concert program during the spring semester, incorporating selections from Central and South America, and spend 9 days in Costa Rica from May 20-29, 2019.
In addition to their choir responsibilities, students will also have the opportunity to attend choral and local music concerts, visit Costa Rican hot spots including the rain forest, Antonio Manuel Park, artisan towns, and San Jose during their trip.
The cost of the trip is $2,600 per student. Your generous contributions will help to make this trip a reality for nearly two dozen talented and deserving Castleton students.
