The Veterans Service Center is fully funded by our partnersā donations.
On Giving Day, your gift will support the full operations, programming, and activities for the UW military-connected community—such as Veterans Fly Fishing Program, Veterans academic programming, over 130 health, wellness, and social activities and events, Veterans Food Insecurity Program, Students Supporting Veterans, Women Veterans Club, Dedicated Veteran Speaker Series, and much more.
As well as supporting the General Fund, you can increase the impact of the Hofer Family Scholarship for Military Families by making an additional gift directly to the scholarship fund supporting military spouses and children (see the associated Giving Day campaign).
In partnership with a wonderful donor, $20,000 has been set aside to match each gift of $10 or more, $30,000 will be released if we gain 10 or more donations of at least $100, and $50,000 will be released if we gain at least 150 donors.
In theme with the Power of Ten, we also ask that you share the Veterans Services Center campaigns with at least ten people to help us reach our goals and continue to serve those who have served us.
