Across Central America, there are thousands of human and animal patients who are in need of healthcare or dental services. Vida Volunteer has been able to provide care to over 200,000 human patients and 100,000 animal patients since 2008.
Vida Volunteer is a 501c3 non-profit organization which specializes in providing medical, dental, and veterinary care to human and animal patients who do not have easy access to healthcare. Next January, over 20 students from the University of Wyoming will be traveling to Costa Rica to gain hands-on experience working in the professional career field of their choice while making a positive difference in these underserved areas. We will work with local doctors, dentists, and veterinarians while learning about the culture in another country.
Your gift on giving day will help support our undergraduate students who are volunteering on this trip. The cost for each student is approximately $2,130(excluding airfare). Your contribution supports those who are struggling in Central America as well as our UW students working towards their future careers.
