Computing is driving change in every industry on the planet, and the School of Computing is preparing both computing professionals and the citizens of the state to thrive in this exciting new world!
The School of Computing is continually rolling out new experiences, programs, and degrees to introduce students how to apply computing in their field. Just this year, we launched the School of Computing Undergrad Research Experience (SURE), Computing Scholars, and a bachelorâs in applied software development. Our masterâs in artificial intelligence is next, followed by quantum information science and engineering.
Your Giving Day support this year goes to students—new students in these programs as well as those already enrolled in the GIS, remote sensing, masterâs degree programs, and more. Funds raised this Giving Day will also be used to help support professional development activities for students, including attendance and participation in scientific meetings, specialized workshops, short courses, and field trips. These types of activities help build key life skills as well as enhance content knowledge and abilities.
Join us in supporting the next generation of computing professionals and future for the people of our great state.
